Held at Lang Co Ong, Hoang Hoa Tham street, Vung Tau city, Nghinh Ong festival to honor Ca Ong. According to the concept of fishermen in Vung Tau coastal area, Ong fish (whale) is their savior and supporter every time the ship is in trouble at sea. The festival is also an opportunity for people in Vung Tau to pray for safety, hoping for a favorable and favorable sea wind during the fishing process.
 
Nghinh Ong festival usually has activities such as procession of fish in the sea, worshiping for heroic martyrs, singing chao chao, singing baa, martial arts performance, dragon lion dance, performance and folk activities such as : blindfolded, catching goats, fishing, blindfolded, etc.
